Commonly Asked Questions:
Where are we located?
We're in Grand Rapids, MI. The closest Airport is Gerald R Ford Airport (the airport code is GRR).
Do we have a flight nanny?
Yes, we do, but we usually fly with our pups ourselves to bring them to you! Let us know, and we'll forward you the contact information so you can get an estimate.
Are the parents health tested?
ABSOLUTELY!! 100%! We take our dogs' and puppies' health VERY seriously! All our dogs have FULL genetic panels, as well orthopedic (hips & patellas), ophthalmological (eyes), and cardiac (heart) health clearances! See Ori's page for her health testing results and Zuri's page for his health testing results. Additionally, all our dogs are CHIC-certified through the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)!
What is the application process?
For pet homes, please fill out this Pet Application. When we receive it, we'll contact you and schedule a phone interview. Once approved, we'll send you a deposit contract to hold your pick place in the litter once your deposit is received!
What are our prices?
Our pups are $2000 regardless of color or sex.
What colors are expected in this litter?
We're expecting all partis, of course - red/apricot/cream partis, black partis, and brown partis!

Our preference is always for pet or performance homes, but we will consider breeding homes if we approve of the program.
Do we offer health guarantees?
Yes, we offer a 2-year health guarantee.
Do we dock tails?
No. All tails are left natural.
What size pups are we expecting?
Ori is 20" & 38 lbs; Zuri is 14" and 14 lbs. We expect pups to be 16"-19" and anywhere from 25-30 lbs approximately.
How are the puppies raised?
Our pups are raised in our living room and they begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) handling at 3 days old. They are constantly exposed to normal home sounds, scents, and stimulation. They start weaning onto puppy food around 3-4 weeks as well as litter box training. When they are 5-6 weeks old, we introduce crates, kennels, collars, and leashes. They are also introduced to approved strangers, a variety of surfaces (laminate flooring, wood surfaces, concrete, grass, asphalt, etc.), a variety of novel sounds, and car rides. Depending on the weather outside, we also introduce them to sprinklers, kiddie pools, and actual pools!
Once my application is approved, what happens next?
Once approved, you'll be able to send in your Puppy Deposit of $500 to hold your pick place in the litter. Deposit holders pick their pups when they turn 4 weeks old. Comprehensive vet exams are done at 6 weeks old and payment is due in full at that time. Puppies go home around 8-9 weeks old.
